metal has become stagnant. the same old fogeys playing the same tired riffs, releasing the same tired albums. enough is enough.
hogtied suicide is a four-(sometimes five)piece band from bellingham/seattle, washington. they've take the best parts of grindcore, death, doom, noise-rock and progressive and created an entirely new sound all their own. HtS is characterized by manic drumming, brutal vocals, griding chainsaw guitars and subterestrially deep bass, short-but-fierce tracks and a willingness (and tendency) to throw all of that away in pursuit of something even better.
